Wedding Budget $500,000

What the couple requested and how we made it happen:
Lauren and Gunner envisioned a vibrant, upbeat, and unforgettable multi-day celebration in the city they love, surrounded by those who have significantly influenced their lives. They sought a planner who could manage every detail of their wedding while they navigated their demanding careers. Gunner emphasized their need for comprehensive planning, stating, "We are looking for more rather than less.” They needed someone to plan every moment of the weekend, from suit selections to napkin folds and we delivered much more than that. With the help of an amazing team of hand-selected vendors, Lauren and Gunner's wedding weekend was truly flawless.

Things that went wrong and how we handled the situation to fix the problem:
Imagine this: You've just said "I do," and it's time for your first dance as newlyweds. You've spent months perfecting a choreographed routine, but then you realize your beautiful dress is too long, making it impossible to dance without tripping.
Don't worry, I've got you covered! I recently helped a client, Lauren, with a similar situation. She was greeting guests during cocktail hour when she realized her dress was causing a problem. I was able to discreetly create an elegant ruched pin-up for her dress without interrupting her conversations. I worked like a silent ninja, ensuring her dress was perfect and photo-ready for her first dance.
Amazing personalized details:
Lauren and Gunner's wedding day was full of delightful surprises for both them and their guests! From a live painter to a secret dinner playlist and even a surprise DJ performance by the couple, every detail was unique.
My favorite personalized moment, however, was Gunner's surprise guitar performance for Lauren. While I'm used to helping couples plan romantic surprises, this one was particularly memorable and amusing to execute. I had to playfully stall Lauren in the room with a series of silly questions until Gunner was in position on stage. Her initial bewildered expression as I held her in place was priceless, and the moment she realized what was happening was truly worth a few awkward stares.
Design details and how it came together:
We designed a weekend of celebration that beautifully blended different inspirations for each event.
The Welcome Dinner was envisioned as a relaxing garden party, setting a comfortable tone for the next few days festivities. We incorporated vibrant pops of color throughout the weekend, and Treasury Rentals' orange china provided the perfect touch for this initial gathering.
For the reception, we drew inspiration from the energetic nightclubs of Tulum, Mexico. This was achieved with a moody, warm palette of dark forest green and black, expressed through cozy velvet accents. We then added striking pops of fuchsia and orange in the floral arrangements and other details. A ceiling installation featuring disco balls and lights was an essential element to complete the ambiance. Florist Fire Design House immediately understood the vision and delivered edgy rentals and stunning floral arrangements that truly impressed everyone.
“Consistently went above and beyond to ensure we felt supported, from handling last-minute changes to making thoughtful suggestions that elevated our wedding in ways we hadn’t even imagined.”
